Metro Manila’s biggest free music celebration just leveled up. Fête de la Musique Philippines has officially confirmed two of the country’s most iconic and beloved artists—Ely Buendia and The Methodists and Armi Millare—as headliners for the FêtePH2025 Main Stage, happening on June 21 at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City.

This thrilling announcement sets the stage for an electrifying celebration of Fête’s 31st year in the Philippines, promising a fusion of timeless anthems, fresh sounds, and unforgettable performances under the open sky.

Rock and Reinvention: Ely Buendia and The Methodists

A living legend in Filipino music, Ely Buendia makes a powerful return to the Fête spotlight—this time with The Methodists, the band that helped shape the sound of his latest solo effort, Method Adaptor. Released in late 2024, the album is a masterstroke of sonic rebellion, introspection, and experimentation. Fans can expect a high-energy set that bridges Ely’s iconic rock roots with genre-bending new material, reinforcing his ever-evolving artistry and relevance across generations.

The Return of Armi Millare

Sharing the stage is no less than Armi Millare, the voice that defined a generation of introspective pop lovers. Known for her haunting vocals and emotionally charged lyrics, Millare is expected to deliver a spellbinding performance just as she gears up for the launch of her solo album South Node. Featuring her latest singles “Whatever,” “Say It Again,” and “Roots,” the project hints at a mature, deeply personal new direction for the former UDD frontwoman—one fans are eager to experience live.

A Lineup Bursting With Local and Global Talent

These two heavyweights join an already stacked roster of Filipino and international acts, including Brigada, Janine, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas featuring Leanne and Naara, James Reid, The Ridleys, and Tarsius x Ena Mori.

Global performers such as Ito Kashitaro from Japan and Emile Londonien from France are also set to energize the stage, while fringe shows by TFrank Ely, Zsaris, Bolivian pop sensation Bling Bling Papaya, and Singapore-based queer Filipina artist Marian Carmel promise vibrant performances across Makati.

The Music Lives On

Now in its 31st year, Fête de la Musique continues to be a beloved platform for musical expression, cultural connection, and community celebration. What began in France has grown into a global tradition—and the Philippines proudly carries that torch forward.

FêtePH2025 is presented by Alliance Française de Manille, in partnership with the Embassy of France to the Philippines, Funkybeat Entertainment, and Anam Kara, with strong support from cultural and commercial partners such as Tanduay, Shangri-La Plaza, Ayala Land, Raffles and Fairmont Makati, TV5Monde, Billboard Philippines, and many others.

Whether you’re there to relive the classics, discover new music, or simply soak in the vibrant energy of live performances, FêtePH2025 promises an experience you won’t want to miss.
