A total of 200 athletes from NCR and Central Luzon participated in the 2-Day Table Tennis Tournament held at The Event Center, SM City Bataan, on August 23–24, in partnership with Anvil Tennis Club.
The tournament provided a competitive platform for athletes across different categories, drawing large audiences throughout the two-day event.
On Day 1, matches were staged for the Beginners and Under 15 divisions, where 100 young players showcased their growing talent and passion for the sport. The games attracted an estimated 800 spectators, composed of families, friends, and table tennis enthusiasts.
The competition intensified on Day 2 with the Intermediate, Expert, and Pro/National categories. Another 100 players competed at a higher level of play, drawing an audience of around 500 people, who witnessed the athletes’ skill, agility, and determination.
The successful staging of the tournament not only highlighted the depth of talent in the region but also reinforced SM City Bataan’s commitment to supporting sports and community-building activities.
