Canon Philippines introduced the PIXMA TR160 wireless portable printer, a compact device made for professionals who need secure and reliable printing outside the office.
The PIXMA TR160 fits easily in briefcases and travel bags. Its 1.44-inch OLED display shows battery, ink levels, and Wi-Fi strength, while a security lock slot helps keep it safe in public spaces.
Performance remains strong despite its size. It prints monochrome text at about 9.0 ipm and color at 5.5 ipm. It also supports A4 borderless glossy prints, making it useful for presentations and client documents.
One key feature is the built-in storage for up to five custom templates, allowing users to reprint forms and datasheets without a laptop or phone. The 5-Color Hybrid Ink System delivers sharp text and vivid images.
Battery performance is another highlight. A 10-minute AC charge produces up to 36 pages, while USB-C charging offers flexibility.
Security is ensured through TLS1.3 encryption on dual-band Wi-Fi. Direct wireless printing, cloud integration, and the Canon PRINT app add convenience for mobile users.
The PIXMA TR160 will be available in June 2025. It will retail at PHP 16,995 for the standard version and PHP 24,595 with battery.
