Clark continues to grow as a regional tourism hub following the successful staging of the 2026 Taiwan Tourism Workshop at SMX Convention Center Clark.

The Taiwan Tourism Administration, through its Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, brought together airlines, hotels, tourism boards, and Philippine travel agencies. The objective was practical. Expand routes. Strengthen supplier networks. Create competitive travel products for Filipino travelers.

The Travel Mart session set the tone. Delegates engaged in direct business discussions. Partnerships were explored in real time.

Taiwan then introduced the Taiwan Tourism Partnership and Boost Project. The initiative supports marketing collaborations and encourages more inbound travel from the Philippines.

Hotel groups including The Landis Taipei, Sotetsu Grand Fresa Taipei Ximen, Kaohsiung Ahotel, The Grand Hotel, and Cathay Hospitality Management presented tailored experiences. The Department of Tourism Taoyuan promoted destination highlights and accessibility.

EVA Air and STARLUX Airlines emphasized improved air connectivity. More flight options mean easier access for Central Luzon travelers using Clark International Airport.

Dr. Richard G. Daenos of the Department of Tourism Region 3 and Ms. Cindy Chen of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila formally opened the event.

For Clark based travel agencies, the workshop delivered direct supplier access and new product knowledge. For travelers, the result is simple. More curated Taiwan experiences. More flight choices. More value.
