Lenovo has officially secured the 8th spot in Gartner’s prestigious 2025 Supply Chain Top 25, reaffirming its position as a global leader in operational excellence. Rising two places from last year’s ranking, Lenovo’s achievement showcases the company’s relentless pursuit of innovation and agility—placing it alongside the world’s best supply chain organizations across industries.
The Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 annually recognizes companies that exemplify strategic vision, executional strength, and supply chain innovation. For Lenovo, this year’s ranking reflects a key driver behind its climb: the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) across every link of its supply chain.
“At Lenovo, our mission is to create Smarter AI for All,” said Che Min Tu, SVP and Group Operations Officer. “By embedding AI into our global supply chain, we’ve drastically improved responsiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.”
Smarter AI for All: Lenovo’s Digital Backbone
Lenovo’s supply chain transformation journey spans nearly a decade, rooted in digitalization and sustainability. With a dedicated team of 75 researchers, including 22 PhDs, the company has rolled out a suite of AI-driven tools that streamline procurement, optimize logistics, and support real-time decision-making.
These AI systems empower teams to plan smarter, reduce order-to-ship time, and identify and address issues proactively. AI-led customer sentiment analysis, for example, has helped Lenovo gain deeper insight into consumer behavior—improving service levels and warranty performance.
Global Reach, Local Strength
Operating more than 30 manufacturing facilities in 11 markets across five continents, Lenovo’s supply chain is as global as it is resilient. Earlier this year, Lenovo partnered with Alat to begin construction of a major manufacturing hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Expected to be operational by 2026, the facility will produce laptops, desktops, and servers tailored to regional demand.
This expansion demonstrates Lenovo’s strategy of building an “anti-fragile” supply chain—one that not only withstands disruptions but strengthens as a result.
Innovation Meets Impact
Lenovo’s leap in Gartner’s 2025 Supply Chain Top 25 is more than a milestone—it is a clear indicator of the company’s ongoing commitment to smarter AI for all. With sustainability, customer satisfaction, and business agility at its core, Lenovo continues to lead by example in global supply chain transformation.
