El Pollo Loco, the popular American-Mexican restaurant chain, has recently introduced an exciting new offering for rice-loving Filipinos. Starting from May, El Pollo Loco Philippines has rolled out “Endless Spanish Rice” in all of its branches, allowing customers to indulge in unlimited servings of this delectable rice dish.

To enjoy this tempting deal, diners simply need to order two pieces of El Pollo Loco’s signature fire-grilled chicken, served with salsa on the side. Alongside the mouthwatering chicken, customers can now savor as much Spanish rice as they desire, making it a true rice lover’s dream come true.

The announcement of the unlimited rice deal was shared on El Pollo Loco’s official Instagram account, with a caption that playfully stated, “Dive into a limitless surpRICE!” accompanied by a cup of rice emoji. The restaurant’s Instagram post quickly gained attention and generated excitement among Filipino food enthusiasts.

El Pollo Loco has built a reputation for its succulent fire-grilled chicken, which is marinated in a flavorful blend of herbs, spices, fruit juices, and garlic. This recipe has been passed down through generations since the first restaurant opened in Mexico in 1975. Over the years, El Pollo Loco has expanded to nearly 500 stores across the United States, and it made its way to the Philippines in 1991, with its first branch located at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

Despite its early presence in the Philippines, it took over two decades for El Pollo Loco to gain significant traction in the local food scene. In 2017, the Bistro Group, an international chain of restaurants, took over the brand, aiming to introduce it to a wider Filipino audience. At the time of the acquisition, El Pollo Loco only had two branches, namely SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia. Since then, the popularity of the restaurant’s signature fire-grilled chicken dish has grown, leading to the opening of ten branches in various cities across Metro Manila.

It is not limited to its renowned fire-grilled chicken; the menu offers a diverse range of American and Mexican favorites to satisfy all taste buds. Customers can enjoy mouthwatering dishes such as barbecue ribs, a variety of side dishes like coleslaw, mac and cheese, macaroni salad, salsa, and fiesta corn, as well as beef nachos and tacos. For dessert, El Pollo Loco tantalizes with options like Hazelnut Crepe and Leche Flan, providing a sweet ending to a delightful meal.

Among the ten El Pollo Loco branches, the one located at the Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City stands out as the largest to date. With a seating capacity of up to 110 people, this spacious branch can accommodate different group sizes, from large gatherings to solo diners. Its size and layout also make it an ideal venue for small business events, further adding to its appeal.

With its unlimited Spanish rice offer and an array of flavorful dishes, El Pollo Loco continues to captivate the palates of Filipino food enthusiasts. As the restaurant chain expands its presence in the Philippines, it aims to provide more customers with a delightful fusion of American and Mexican flavors, served with warm hospitality and a side of unlimited Spanish rice.
