Levi’s x Oasis: A Stylish Homage to Britpop Legends
As Oasis makes a long-awaited return to the stage, Levi’s is celebrating with a brand-new capsule collection that pays homage to the band’s unmistakable ’90s style. Uniting fashion, music, and Manchester pride, the Levi’s x Oasis collection brings together signature looks that defined the era—now reimagined for today.
The capsule features seven premium T-shirts, each boasting vintage Oasis logos—some even in the colors of Manchester City, a subtle tribute to the band’s roots. One standout piece is a black long-sleeve tee emblazoned with “Supersonic” on the front and lyrics on the back, echoing the band’s iconic debut single. True to Levi’s legacy, the tees are finished with vintage woven labels, nodding to the brand’s 1990s aesthetic.
Beyond the tees, the collection dives into denim—three tops inspired by pieces worn by Oasis during their meteoric rise. The centerpiece? A signature parka, reminiscent of Liam Gallagher’s legendary outerwear, designed with ’70s Orange Tab elements and Oasis embroidery on the sleeve. Other highlights include a Type II Trucker jacket, modeled after the now-iconic Oasis Knebworth piece from 1996, and an indigo banded collar shirt that gives a stylish nod to Manchester City with its yarn-dye stripe pattern.
The visual campaign was shot by Michael Spencer Jones, the man behind Oasis’ most memorable album covers—including Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?—further anchoring the collection in authentic Britpop nostalgia.
