In light of escalating tensions in the Middle East, PLDT and its wireless arm Smart Communications are stepping in to support Filipinos in Iran and Israel by offering free international calls, data roaming, and crisis support.
Starting June 23 to 25, 2025, PLDT is providing free International Direct Dial (IDD) landline calls from the Philippines to Iran and Israel. This compassionate initiative is designed to give families peace of mind and keep loved ones connected during a time of uncertainty.
“Communication is especially critical during uncertain times,” said PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan. “We want to help give peace of mind to Filipinos who simply want to hear their loved ones’ voices and know they’re safe.”
The offer is open to all PLDT landline subscribers nationwide and covers calls to both landline and mobile numbers in the affected countries.
