Philippine Airlines (PAL) is soaring into the digital age with a bold technological leap that’s set to redefine the air travel experience for both agents and flyers. The country’s flag carrier has officially launched its New Distribution Capability (NDC) integration, powered by global travel technology provider Amadeus.
This cutting-edge platform modernizes how PAL distributes its products and engages with customers by providing greater personalization, flexibility, and transparency. Through NDC, travel partners can now access more tailored offerings such as seat selection, prepaid baggage, meal options, and more—directly aligned with passenger preferences.
“We are excited to pioneer this modern distribution solution in the country,” said Justin Warby, PAL Vice President for Sales and Distribution. “This undertaking is in line with PAL’s commitment to modernize distribution methods and deliver benefits for distribution partners and customers.”
The integration includes three easy-access channels to meet the diverse needs of PAL’s partners:
- Connect API – a seamless integration option for travel agencies with their own ticketing systems
- Connect Hub – a ready-to-use travel agency portal for fast and efficient bookings
- Connect+ – an aggregator platform that simplifies access to NDC content
PAL’s NDC rollout begins with key international markets, including the United States, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. It will be implemented alongside the airline’s existing Global Distribution System (GDS), ensuring a smooth and flexible transition.
By joining over 60 leading global airlines already adopting NDC, PAL strengthens its commitment to innovation and elevates its global competitiveness. More than just a booking upgrade, this move signals a major shift toward a smarter, more customer-centric approach to flying.
With NDC integration, Philippine Airlines isn’t just keeping up with the future of travel—it’s helping shape it.
