SM City Bataan has been named Mall of the Year 2025, winning in the Large/Medium Category at the SM Supermalls Extr40rdinary Anniversary Awards Night held at Lanson Place, Manila.
The awarding is historic as it coincides with the 40th Anniversary of SM Supermalls. For four decades, SM has been more than a retail space, serving as a hub of stories, celebrations, and community service.
The award highlights SM City Bataan’s strong performance in business growth, occupancy, efficiency, talent retention, and community engagement. Regional Operations Head for North 4, Bong M. Garcia, and Mall Head Mark Joriel B. De Leon received the recognition on behalf of the mall.
In his acceptance speech, De Leon thanked the Sy family and the entire Bataan team: “To my team in Bataan – you are the heartbeat of this achievement. With grit, grace, and gratitude – Happy 40th Anniversary, SM Supermalls! Let’s all be more than Extraordinary!”
