In the age of digital convenience, even traffic violations are going paperless. With the implementation of the No-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) in Metro Manila, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched a hassle-free platform to help motorists check for violations—right from the comfort of their homes.
The platform, aptly named “Mayhulika” (which loosely translates to “You Got Caught”), gives drivers an easy way to know if they’ve been flagged for any traffic rule violation without physically going to government agencies.
How to Use the “Mayhulika” Website
- Visit: https://mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph/
- Enter Details: Input your Plate Number or Conduction Sticker and your MV File Number in the search bar.
- Check Results: If you have a registered violation, the site will show the details.
- Request Notice: You can request a copy of your Notice of Violation via email. You’ll also receive a printed copy through PHLPost.

What If You Want to Contest a Violation?
Motorists who wish to dispute a citation can file a contest within 10 working days upon receiving the notice:
- In Person: Head to the Traffic Adjudication Division (TAD) at the 11th Floor, MMDA New Building
- Online: Submit your contest digitally through the designated MMDA channels.
Coming Soon: eGovPH App Integration
In a push for further digital transformation, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is integrating NCAP features into the eGovPH app. According to DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr., motorists will soon be able to:
- View violations with photo and video evidence directly in the app
- Click a dedicated “Penalties” button to check fines
- Pay fees seamlessly through the integrated system
The eGovPH app will also sync with other platforms such as:
- MMDA’s Single Ticketing System
- LTO’s Land Transportation Management System (LTMS)
