Starting July 9, the beloved Filipino streaming platform iWant steps into a bold new era—complete with a reimagined design, a performance upgrade, and a clear vision to deliver “Filipino feels” like never before. Now officially relaunched across smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and desktops, the new iWant promises a seamless experience for users craving both top-notch entertainment and authentic storytelling.
The transformation was formally unveiled during a grand launch event titled “Unlock Your Feels: The New iWant Experience” held at the ABS-CBN Compound. Led by ABS-CBN Digital Head Jamie Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, and COO Cory Vidanes, the event brought together creatives, advertisers, brand collaborators, and Kapamilya stars—all eager to witness the platform’s next chapter.
“As your digital home, iWant is where the stories you love meet all the feels you live,” shared Jamie Lopez. “A place where we welcome all storytellers and all types of storytelling… where we will continue to be of service to the Filipino.”
A Smarter, Sleeker Streaming Experience
iWant Head Jolly Estaris presented the upgraded app’s new features, including:
- Faster performance
- Sharper video previews
- A more intuitive user interface
- Expanded availability across devices (including Chromecast and AirPlay)
Viewers can now enjoy a smarter, smoother, and more emotionally connected streaming experience no matter where they are.
The launch event also featured the “Museum of Filipino Feels,” a museum-style installation showcasing some of iWant’s most iconic, trending, and emotion-driven content. Attendees were treated to a first look at exclusive titles and were joined by several celebrities and creators.
New Faces, Fresh Stories, and Big Collaborations
The new iWant lineup is stacked with original and exclusive titles. Cast members of the upcoming iWant Originals series “Love at First Spike”—including Emilio Daez, Reign Parani, Sean Tristan, and Andi Abaya—graced the launch, alongside stars Shanaia Gomez, Kaori Oinuma, and Donny Pangilinan.
Prominent Filipino directors Ivan Payawal, Red Ollero, and Rodina Singh, as well as journalist Jeff Canoy, previewed upcoming projects that will soon be available exclusively on the platform.
Beyond ABS-CBN content, iWant is expanding its library with select GMA titles (available internationally), and shows from Regal Entertainment, Viva, and independent studios like MavX, Nathan Studios, Project 8, and Kinetec.
