Nitori Makes Its Manila Debut at Lucky Chinatown

Manila residents can now experience a new level of modern living as Nitori, Japan’s top furniture and home accessories brand, opens its first store in the capital at Lucky Chinatown.

Located on the second floor of the Imperial Wing, the 2,326-square-meter space introduces Filipinos to Nitori’s signature blend of minimalist Japanese design, smart functionality, and affordability. Known for elevating everyday spaces, Nitori’s arrival in Manila is a welcome addition for home design enthusiasts and first-time decorators alike.

A Fusion of Japanese Simplicity and Filipino Practicality

The store’s launch was led by key figures from Nitori and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, including Takuya Ono, Executive Director for Southeast Asia and India; Masatoshi Sano, General Manager for Asia; Graham Coates, First Vice President and Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls; and Nori Mizoguchi, General Manager of Lucky Chinatown.

“We’re excited to introduce Nitori to more Filipinos,” said Coates. “This launch reinforces Lucky Chinatown’s commitment to bringing world-class retail brands into the community.”

Nitori is revered in Japan and abroad for its thoughtful craftsmanship—from compact multi-use furniture pieces to elegant kitchenware and everyday essentials. The store offers fully styled rooms, allowing customers to envision how they can bring functional beauty into their own homes.

Design That Makes Life Easier

Nitori’s mission is rooted in a simple idea: that small changes in your living space can lead to big comfort. The store features a wide array of products, including:

  • Smart storage solutions
  • Modular and space-saving furniture
  • Soft, cozy bedding and textiles
  • Functional yet stylish kitchen items
  • Minimalist home décor and accessories

With these curated selections, Nitori makes it easy for shoppers to mix and match styles and functions, whether they live in a compact condo or a larger family home.

A Cultural Milestone for Lucky Chinatown

With Nitori’s arrival, Lucky Chinatown continues to grow as a destination for premium yet practical living. It marks the mall’s evolution into a lifestyle hub that merges cultural heritage with modern experiences.
