Music saves people and it will continue to do so as Caritas Manila and Viva Live Inc. join hands together to make the “PADAYON: Pag-ibig, Damayan sa Pag-ahon!” benefit concert happen on March 25, 2022. This concert’s main purpose is to raise P20,000,000 to provide aid to those affected by Typhoon Odette last December 2021.

Did you know that the ticket you will buy may benefit you as well? The wonders of giving isn’t just a one-sided thing! Here is a list of wonderful things of what a PADAYON benefit concert ticket can do to you and to others:

  1. Your ticket can help repair more than ten churches

A lot of Catholic cathedrals and chapels were part of the casualties when Typhoon Odette struck. Caritas Manila would like to offer aid in the reconstruction of these churches through the concert and you can be a part of it. You can help the people have their churches back so they can keep on practicing their faith together in these places of worship.

The target Dioceses are: Archdiocese of Cebu, Diocese of Dumaguete, Diocese of Maasin, Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa, Diocese of Tagbilaran, Diocese of Talibon, Diocese of Kabankalan, Diocese of San Carlos, and Diocese of Surigao.

  1. Your ticket can support the construction of new 3-in-1 chapels

The concert will also provide funding for the building of these “3-in-1 chapels.” Aside from being a place of worship, they may also be used as a multipurpose center for when events are held in their area. More importantly, they will also serve as evacuation centers that can withstand Category 5 storms like Typhoon Odette so that the people will finally have a safe place to stay once another typhoon hits.

  1. Your ticket can save others still in need

It has almost been almost three months since the typhoon hit the area, but a lot still haven’t had their normal lives back as the storm ruined a lot of their resources. Taking part in this concert, giving the opportunity to raise more than their goal will provide them ample funds to give donations to victims of the typhoon. You can also donate through their online donation portals.

  1. Your ticket can keep you entertained for a whole day

Remember that this is a concert for a cause! Viva Live Inc. invited a lot of their artists to participate in this event such as Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli, Matteo Guidicelli, Mark Bautista, Alamat, Angelo Garcia, Atsaka, Bandang Lapis, Caleb Santos, Ethan Loukas, Ezro, Ferodina, Guji Lorenzana, Jehramae Trangia, Jerald Napoles, Katrina Velarde. Other artists and bands like Kayla Miel Camerong, Kim Molina Lits, Lyca Gairanod, Magnus Haven, Marielle Belleza, PPOP Generation, Rob Deniel, The Juans, This Band, Thyro Alfaro, and Yumi Lacsamana will be there as well to make the concert entertaining and lively.

There will also be a special participation by His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle – President of Caritas Internationalis and former Archbishop of Manila that you don’t want to miss.

  1. Your ticket can give you an impact on your life

Giving to charity is self-fulfilling as you know that your single act can make a difference and a positive impact to others. The impact that you impart to others also bounces back to you. Donating is a mood-booster, it is scientifically proven that people who donate more are happier. It is inherently rewarding to be able to help others with the best you can.

It doesn’t only impact you but people surrounding you as well, especially those who are very close or look up to you. You can share your principle of generosity to them and they may acquire it too to pass it on to others. That means more hearts filled with kindness to help others!

If you wish to attend and give donations to the PADAYON concert you can visit the Caritas Manila official website or at the KTX.PH site.

Here are the ticket prices of the PADAYON concert:

  • Php 1,000 for Electrical Materials
  • Php 3,000 for Roofing Materials
  • Php 5,000 for Structural Materials
