The ‘Panahon sa Taiwan Travel Fair 2025’ opened on August 30 at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Manila, attracting strong interest from Filipino travelers. Organized by the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), the fair highlighted Taiwan’s culture, food, and travel experiences.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Dustin T.S. Yang, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines, and Cindy Y.T. Chen, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center (TTIC in Manila), alongside executives from major airlines and travel agencies.

Exhibitors included China Airlines, EVA Air, Amkor Travel and Tours, BF Travel and Tours, Everbright Travel & Tours, Jeron Travel, and Sole Destinations Travel. They promoted packages that showcased Taiwan’s attractions such as its four-season climate, diverse street food, vibrant shopping, and efficient transportation.

Cindy Chen shared that mid-year 2025 statistics show strong performance of the Philippine market for Taiwan tourism. Visa-free entry and promotional efforts continue to make Taiwan a top choice for Filipino travelers.

The fair featured night market-inspired games, a Taiwanese Night Market showcase, and a Lucky Lantern D.I.Y. workshop. Travel blogger Xzar Lim and actress Bea Binene joined the event, sharing personal travel experiences that inspired attendees. Guests also had the chance to win roundtrip tickets from Manila to Taipei.

The fair runs until August 31, 2025, with Bea Binene making another special appearance. TTIC in Manila invites Filipinos to explore Taiwan’s culture and plan their next trip.
