Shawn Crab new singles capture the tension, thrill, and confusion of young love through heartfelt storytelling.

Shawn Crab steps into the spotlight with two new singles, “Tago” and “Ang Labo,” both reflecting the raw emotions of young love.

At just 16, the rising singer-songwriter shows depth and honesty in her music. “Tago” captures the tug-of-war between desire and fear, where feelings stay hidden but never fade. In contrast, “Ang Labo” brings out the frustration of mixed signals, portraying the uncertainty that defines teenage romance.

Both songs mark a new chapter for Shawn, who continues to grow under StarPop Records. Produced by Roque “Rox” Santos, the head of StarPop, these singles refine her sound and emotion, giving listeners a glimpse of her evolving artistry.

Earlier this year, Shawn introduced herself to the OPM scene with “Love Has Come My Way.” Since then, her songwriting and storytelling have deepened, bringing sincerity and relatability to her music.

Born in San Francisco and now based in the Philippines, Shawn began writing songs at age 11. Her musical roots trace back to the piano, which she started playing at 10. Influenced by artists like Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, and Clairo, she crafts songs that mirror the lives of young listeners exploring love, heartbreak, and growth.

“Tago” and “Ang Labo” stand as honest snapshots of youth—messy, emotional, and full of hope. They remind listeners of what it feels like to care deeply and feel confused all at once.

Both singles are now available on all streaming platforms. Follow StarPop on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok for updates.
