SM City Bataan came alive with color, energy, and purpose during the Pride Run 2024, held last June 29, as 200 enthusiastic participants gathered in celebration of unity, diversity, and inclusion.
More than just a run, the event turned into a vibrant gathering of empowered individuals from different walks of life. The Pride Run highlighted not only the strength of the LGBTQIA+ community but also the strong support of allies and advocates across the province.
After crossing the finish line, participants were welcomed with exciting freebies and tokens, turning the morning into a truly festive experience. To keep the momentum going, everyone joined a high-energy Zumba Express session—an electrifying dance workout filled with laughter, movement, and feel-good vibes. It was a chance for runners to cool down, let loose, and celebrate pride through rhythm and motion.
Capping off the celebration was an inspiring talk from the LGBTQIA+ founders of an advertising agency, Mark Jvnz Montero and Gian Eduard Rabago. The speakers delivered a powerful message of support and encouragement to the participants and the LGBTQIA+ community, celebrating their courage, resilience, and authenticity. They reminded everyone that embracing who you are is something to be proud of—and that each voice in the community plays an important role in building a more inclusive, creative, and compassionate society.
