Ad-free YouTube viewing made affordable for Filipinos
YouTube has introduced YouTube Premium Lite in the Philippines, a new affordable subscription for viewers who want ad-free YouTube access for only PHP109 per month.

This plan lets Filipinos enjoy most videos without ads, from gaming and vlogs to educational and cooking content. It supports multiple devices including smartphones, laptops, and TVs, offering a simple way to enjoy videos without constant interruptions.
Unlike the full YouTube Premium plan, the Lite version focuses only on ad-free viewing. Commercials may still appear on music content, Shorts, and during searches. The plan’s design targets users who watch a variety of regular videos but prefer a lower subscription price.
The global rollout of it follows the success of YouTube’s main subscription programs, which have exceeded 125 million users worldwide. In the Philippines, where mobile video viewing continues to rise, this new option brings flexibility for both casual and frequent YouTube users.
YouTube said the new plan not only enhances the user experience but also supports creators and partners by providing more ways for audiences to engage with their content.
YouTube Premium Lite offers Filipinos the chance to experience seamless viewing for less. With its lower cost and accessibility, the service reflects YouTube’s ongoing mission to create better viewing experiences across all types of audiences.
