Have you ever thought about how you would always go to zoos in your school field trips when you were young and then suddenly realize that it has been such a long time since you actually last went into one? Surely you miss seeing almost a hundred animals and different species of it too in just one trip! If you are in Pampanga, the Clark Safari and Adventure Park is a haven for all the animal lovers out there!
You can view almost 1,500 live animals in this 40-hectare zoo! Its massive size can accommodate 2,500 visitors while still ensuring that basic health and safety protocols are implemented as set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) as the establishment prioritizes it’s guests’ safety on top of the list.
If the kids have seen the classic Jungle Book movie, they can see the live version of Baloo the bear here. What is even more surprising is, Baloo the bear is not the only one housed in this safari but almost the entire cast of the Jungle Book such as tigers, meerkats, hyenas, and monkeys! There are other more wild animals like jaguars, baboons, serval cats, patas monkeys and etc. You can spend the whole day learning about the 70 various species of animals living here.
The Clark Safari is not only a zoo that spotlights wild uncommon animals as it also serves as a Rescue Sanctuary Area for rescued animals that were affected by the infamous Taal eruption in the province like horses. There are some that were rescued in the wild to help nurture them and preserve their species in the country like the turned over pelican bird found in Aurora and Philippine macaque by DENR Pampanga.
