Valenzuela City is home to a bustling bus terminal that may not be as well-known as the PITX, but it certainly offers a convenient way to navigate the Metro and beyond. The Valenzuela Gateway Complex (VGC), located in Paso de Blas, serves as an intermodal transit hub, catering to commuters traveling to and from Northern Luzon and Central Luzon.
Since 2019, the VGC Terminal has provided bus rides to Monumento and SM North EDSA. Responding to popular demand, it has recently introduced a route to Cubao, starting this week.
Situated along the East Service Road of the North Luzon Expressway, at its junction with Paso de Blas Road and opposite Puregold, the Valenzuela bus terminal is easily accessible.
Here are the available routes from the Valenzuela Gateway Complex:
- VGC to Cubao:
- Trips run from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Stops include Mindanao Avenue, Congressional Avenue, Visayas Avenue corner Congressional Avenue Extension, Luzon Avenue, Capitol Hills/C5, Balara/Miriam Footbridge/Ateneo Gate 2, Katipunan Flyover/C5, Savemore P. Tuazon/P. Tuazon Boulevard, and Cubao in front of Farmer’s Plaza/Aurora Boulevard.
- If you’re traveling from Cubao, look for the ES Transport buses stationed in front of Farmer’s Plaza for a ride back to VGC.
- VGC to Monumento:
- Trips run from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Stops include Caloocan Median Stop, Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, and Araneta Square Mall.
- VGC to SM North:
- Trips run from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Stops include Sauyo, Tandang Sora, Road 20, Mindanao Avenue, Veterans Memorial Hospital, and SM North EDSA.

In addition to buses, VGC also accommodates jeepneys. There are several routes heading north to destinations such as Marilao Exit, Bocaue Exit, and Sta. Maria Terminal, making it convenient for commuters near the Philippine Arena.
