Betis showcases a hidden gem for those who are searching for a spot to spend their vacation in Guagua, Pampanga: The Venta Suites. The pandemic brought upon this wonderful place as it was transformed from an old wood-carving processing area to a serene, rustic, and comfortable destination. Here are superb reasons on why you should consider the Venta Suites for an exciting getaway:
Rich and fascinating history
Wood carving is what first comes to mind when people hear about the district of Betis in Guagua, Pampanga. In the heart of the area, there was once an old wood kiln-drying chamber owned by the Bituin family at the time when the disaster of Mount Pinatubo eruption happened in 1991. The chamber was left unused as the Bituin family was forced to evacuate and continue living in the province of Tarlac and Mabalacat City in Pampanga, relocating the operation of their business alongside it.
It served as a warehouse for decades as the family’s furniture manufacturing company developed in another city. Now owner, Lieza Bituin, thought of a way to diversify her income as the pandemic strikes on business operations and came up with the idea of repurposing the old property into a perfect bed and breakfast destination for leisure.
Comfortable chambers
The chambers of the facility were transformed into three rooms that Bituin also calls “chambers.” With the contemporary industrial touches along with their woodcarving artistry, the suites radiate a rustic charm.
If you are staying with your partner or with a friend, chambers 1 and 2 would be perfect for the both of you as they can accommodate up to two guests. Chamber 3 is quite spacious as compared to the two and is perfect for a group.
