Mala King Hotpot brings authentic Chongqing hotpot to Arcovia City with bold flavors and premium ingredients
Mala King Hotpot opens its first branch in Arcovia City, Pasig, bringing fiery flavors from China’s Sichuan region closer to home.

“Mala King was born from our travels to Chongqing,” said founder Kyle Yu. “We wanted to bring the bold flavors, the freedom to create your own bowl, and the communal feel to Manila.”

Mala King Hotpot combines authentic Chongqing taste with Filipino dining culture. Diners can mix and match ingredients and choose from six flavorful broths. The Mala Original, made with Sichuan spices, lets you pick your spice level. Golden Chicken gives a clean, hearty taste, while Signature Tomato is tangy and bright. Sukiyaki adds a Japanese twist, Premium Bulalo pays homage to local comfort food, and Spicy Tom Yum brings Thai zest to the table.

Guests can also customize dipping sauces, from chili oil and gochujang to sesame or apple-peach purée. Each adds depth to every bite.

For around ₱500, diners can create their own bowl with 20 toppings, rice, and free ice cream. Meat lovers can enjoy marbled beef, tendons, and seafood like scallops and bamboo clams. Vegetarians can pick from lotus root, broccoli, and mushrooms.

Signature iced teas complete the experience. Choose from the tangy Mala King Signature, Watermelon Breeze, or Orange Sunrise, all brewed from imported leaves.

Mala King Hotpot offers a balance of spice, freshness, and comfort. With its authentic Chongqing roots and premium Filipino twist, it is set to become the next go-to dining spot in Metro Manila.
