In a time when everyone else are doubtful if things should work out, these businessmen and businesswomen have the courage to dive in to the “new normal” even though there are a lot of risk to consider.

How did Samgyeop On-The-Go started?

The franchise started as a delivery service at first, they were encouraged by their families and friends to start this business because the taste of their food is loved by many. With the success of their delivery service, on the 8th of October last year, Ken and his friends: Joseph Lou Carpio and Germaine Raina Caraig, opened their physical store in Sto. Tomas Pampanga with the name of Samgyeop On-The-Go Unlimeated Korean BBQ and Shabu Shabu. And undeniably so, the physical store is thriving as well as their online service. To keep the momentum going, they decided to open another physical branch with a new co-partner, Anne Tuazon, in Mexico, Pampanga this September 18, 2021.

What are the 5 things you must-try in Samgyeop On-The-Go?

  1. Samgyeop On-The-Go | KBBQ and Shabu-Shabu

As we all know the love of Filipino for Korean barbecue is solid, because of the feel of eating the food of your favorite K-Pop idol or enjoying the impression of being in a K-drama. Of course, this would just be a passing trend if the taste is not guaranteed but, with Samgyeop-On-the-Go they will surely not leave you hanging. With their homemade sauces and plenty side dishes, you will definitely see yourself coming back for another round. Plus, they serve shabu-shabu made of Kimchi base soup which is a heart-warming dish specially in this rainy season.

  2. Samgyeop On-The-Go | RAMYEON

What is a Korean barbeque restaurant without ramyeon, right? This restaurant offers ala carte menu specially made with different ramyeon concoctions. You could have a taste of their Classic Ramyun, Kujirai Style Ramyun, Meaty Ramyun, Soy Souce Ramyun, Naeng Ramyun, Shrimp Ramyun, Rabokki Ramyun – which is a ramyeon with tteokbokki toppings and sauce, and my favorite in their ramyeon menu, the Creamy Ramyun which is a mixture of savory and sweet flavor and if you are not into spicy flavors, this is for you.

  3. Watching The Live Band

Are you worried that you would get bored while eating KBBQ? Worry no more because Samgyeop On-the-Go doesn’t only offer you a feast for your stomach but also a feast to your eyes and ears as they have a live band to serenade you every Friday, Saturday, and Sundays with your favorite music requests.

  4. Soju and Bar Mixes

Of course, eating your Korean barbeque would not be satisfying without any accompanying booze. Samgyeop On-the-Go have already thought of it for you, because they have an alfresco bar that is ready to serve you their Soju Cocktails, which are a variety of trendy soju mixes like the Yakult Soju, Soju Lemon,Soju Latte, Soju Sangria, and my all-time go-to booze Soju Bomb, they also offer Korean Beers for the light drinkers, and certainly our local beers also, for the titos out there.

  5. Samgyeop On-The-Go | Korean Street Food

The franchise doesn’t only boast about their Korean barbecue and shabu-shabu, they also offer Korean street food and an al fresco dining, designed to look like the streets of Korea which presents you a Full-South Korea experience. The choices? I know you surely won’t be able to select everything because of the range in their menu. They have their different variations of Kimbap, from classic to volcanic, their must-try fishcake and tteokbokki, and many more.

Are you still contemplating if you should visit Samgyeop On-the-Go? Don’t worry because their prices will not overwhelm you as the food will be soo worth it. So, for those K-BBQ and shabu-shabu lovers out there, invite your family and friends to try their menus in the newest branch located in 556 Lagundi Highway, Mexico, Pampanga!
