Landco Pacific Corporation is shaping futures with its Adopt-a-Scholar Program, a long-term education initiative for underprivileged youth from Batangas.
Launched in 2023, the program supports nine scholars from Club Laiya and CaSoBe. Most are taking up Tourism or Hospitality Management courses. The program covers living expenses, school materials, and internships at Landco’s leisure properties like Crusoe Cabins, Chairman’s Cabin, and Camperisti.
Scholars recently visited Landco’s headquarters for a full-day learning session. They met with President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano, who told them, “Your journey is bigger than yourselves.” He also promised a free overnight stay at a Landco resort for the top three graduates.
Landco ensures scholars gain real-world experience. Internship placements include LLV properties and nearby partners like Kalaiyaan Coast. Upon graduation, they get priority for full-time roles close to home.
This initiative is part of Landco’s larger sustainability vision. The company promotes eco-friendly practices while focusing on education and local job creation. Seventy percent of Landco Leisure’s staff are local residents. The program supports UN Sustainable Development Goals and MPIC’s ESG roadmap.

- Turtle hatchling releases and mangrove planting
- Marine life conservation
