Filipino students aspiring to study in Manila will now have greater access to high-quality international education in both business and health sciences thanks to a collaborative project with Arizona State University (ASU) and Mapúa University. This ground-breaking partnership will give students an education that is significantly distinctive and will be based on three main pillars: real-world experiential learning, international exposure, and digital expertise.
International Exposure
Students at Mapúa will now have access to the world-class content and curricula offered by ASU. In addition, they will be able to take part in Global Signature Courses taught by ASU faculty and taught alongside classmates from other countries in the university’s cutting-edge Global Classrooms facility. The next academic year will also see an increase in the number of health science courses offered not only on the main campus in Intramuros but also on campuses in Laguna, Cabuyao, and Davao City.
Furthermore, students attending Mapúa will have the opportunity to participate in one-of-a-kind international exchange programs and summer immersion experiences at ASU as well as other institutions located all over the globe as a result of Mapúa’s participation in the ASU-Cintana Alliance. The ASU-Cintana Alliance has universities located in the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America working together to construct and scale high-quality academic programs that are a response to the economic and social needs of their respective countries.
Real-World Experiential Learning
Students will also participate in real-world experiential learning that has been co-designed with industry partners.
