According to research, 90% of a child’s brain develops by the time he or she is five years old. Babies between the ages of one and two are full of wonder and curiosity. At 3, they begin mingling with other children and adults. This highlights the importance of early childhood education (ECE) for every child’s development and learning.
Fortunately, Rex Education has everything your kid needs to develop intellectually and become the best version of themselves. Rex Education has released several new books for elementary school students, and we’d like to highlight some of the most interesting features of the LITTLE EXPLORERS series.
Learning Starts At Home
At home, parents play a key role in their children’s education and are their most vocal advocates. To help children in the Philippines become healthy, safe, engaged, supported, challenged, and values-oriented entire learners from an early age, Little Explorers aspires to encourage parents and guardians to take ECCD principles seriously at home and improve their children’s learning environments.
Wide Variety Of Titles For Your Child’s Needs
Over 100 titles are currently in development to help children in the six areas of development highlighted by the government-mandated ECCD Council’s National Early Learning Framework (NELF) policy document: language development; physical health, well-being, and motor development; character and values development; cognitive/intellectual development; social-emotional development; and creative-aesthetic development.
Unlock the potential of our little explorers
On December 1, 2022, REX debuted Little Explorers at the Novotel in Cubao with the goal of providing every Filipino kid with a head start in their education. The goal of the event was to get Little Explorers into the hands of every little learner and every Edukampyon parent and learning partner who wants to set their children up for success by starting them off on the right foot academically. People were encouraged to channel their inner child by participating in carnival booth games and other activities. Huge replicas of the Little Explorers book covers were displayed so visitors could scan them and access augmented reality content. “How to unlock our young learners’ potential by focusing on Early Childhood Education” was discussed in a panel discussion with Philippine Social Science Council Gender Studies Chairperson Dr. Excelsa Tongson, DSD, Richwell Philippines Inc. Chief Operations Officer Maye Yao Co Say, and WOOP Mama Club Senior Sales Manager Stephanie Alviso.
