Renowned Japanese composer Yasunori Nishiki, celebrated for his work on vibrant titles like Octopath Traveler and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, is venturing into uncharted creative territory with his latest project: Silver and Blood. Known for his emotionally rich compositions, Nishiki has embraced a darker, more gothic soundscape for the first time in his career.

“I’ve composed music for many RPGs before, but this is my first time working on a title with such a dark overall tone, which made this project a completely new challenge for me,” Nishiki shared in a recent video interview. “I hope to bring out the best of my abilities and create music that would live up to the game’s artistic vision.”

A New Sonic Realm for a Vampire-Themed Universe

Published by MOONTON Games, Silver and Blood is set in a gothic fantasy world called Children of the Moon, a setting teeming with vampires, ancient clans, and strategic battles. The soundtrack, a blend of melancholic tones and cinematic melodies, plays a central role in immersing players in this mysterious and beautifully eerie world.

“In the story segments, the focus is on delivering the narrative to the player. Here, music takes on a more supportive role, subtly enhancing the mood from the background to help players fully immerse themselves in the story,” Nishiki explained.

With its artistic visual style, layered storytelling, and richly built world, the game delivers a sensory experience where music deepens the narrative and heightens emotional engagement.

Breaking Records: 6 Million+ Pre-Registrations

The hype surrounding Silver and Blood is undeniable. As of mid-June 2025, the game has already crossed a massive milestone of over 6 million pre-registrations globally. To reward early supporters, players who pre-register can unlock exclusive milestone bonuses:

  • 1,000 Moon Tears
  • 10 Soothing Embrace items
  • Super Special Rare (SSR) Vassal Hati

Players can pre-register now via the Official Website or through the Google Play and App Store platforms.

Mark Your Calendars: Open Beta & Official Theme Song

Excitement is building with the Open Beta Test launching on June 26, 2025, where players can finally step into Silver and Blood’s intricate nine-grid turn-based combat system and unravel its dark narrative threads.

Adding to the game’s allure, J-pop artist Milet will debut the official theme song “Broken” on June 13. Known for her emotionally powerful voice and RIAJ Gold-certified hit “Inside You”, Milet’s haunting vocals are expected to elevate the game’s musical identity. An official music video for “Broken” is also set to be released.
