The Philippine government has officially launched the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub, a centralized digital platform aimed at integrating national and local government services into one convenient super app. The initiative was spearheaded by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in collaboration with various government agencies, as part of the Marcos administration’s digital transformation and bureaucratic efficiency goals.
It aims to simplify public access to essential services through the eGov PH Super App, offering digital IDs, permits, licenses, and other government transactions in a single user-friendly interface. Citizens can now complete tasks such as applying for passports, accessing healthcare services, checking their PhilHealth contributions, and even monitoring disaster alerts all within the app.
DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy emphasized that this move will bridge the digital divide and provide seamless service delivery to Filipinos. It also supports transparency and efficiency in governance by reducing red tape, cutting long queues, and minimizing face-to-face interactions. The eGovPH Serbisyo Hub is seen as a cornerstone of the national e-governance blueprint, especially with plans to expand connectivity in far-flung areas and integrate more LGUs and government offices into the system.
With the integration of over 100 government agencies and services, the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub sets the stage for a smarter, more responsive digital government that meets the modern demands of Filipino citizens.
