Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo has officially signed a landmark partnership with Filinvest City to bring an Olympic-grade gymnastics facility to southern Metro Manila.
Set in the heart of the Woods District, the soon-to-rise, air-conditioned gymnastics center will be a cornerstone of the much-anticipated Filinvest Sports Hub, with construction slated to begin in 2026. The facility will not only serve as Yulo’s official training base but will also become a development platform for aspiring gymnasts and Filipino athletes nationwide.
“This project is a dream,” said Yulo. “We’re not just building a facility—we’re building hope and opportunity for Filipino athletes who dream of making it to the world stage.”
Designed to be one of the country’s largest gymnastics gyms, the facility will anchor a broader sports and lifestyle complex that includes wall climbing facilities and vibrant outdoor spaces. The Sports Hub is poised to reflect Filinvest City’s bold vision of creating youth-centric, active, and inclusive urban zones.
Located near The Crib co-living space and FEU Alabang, the Filinvest Sports Hub is set to become a creative and athletic enclave for students, professionals, and trailblazers in the metro south.
“At the heart of Filinvest City is our live-work-play philosophy,” shared Don Ubaldo, Head of Townships at Filinvest Alabang, Inc. “Our partnership with Carlos Yulo stems from a shared belief that building spaces of possibility is the key to unlocking the potential of the next generation.”
Filinvest City, already celebrated as the Philippines’ first CBD to earn both LEED® and BERDE green certifications, continues to evolve as a sustainable and dynamic lifestyle district. With the introduction of the Filinvest Sports Hub, the city further cements its commitment to creating future-ready environments where dreams take flight.
More than just a sports center, the new gymnastics facility is envisioned as a national training ground—hosting high-performance programs, community sports events, and initiatives to develop the country’s next crop of champions.
From dream to development, Carlos Yulo and Filinvest City are flipping the script on what’s possible for Philippine sports—one somersault at a time.
