The Huawei company just released another phone to their Nova series, a set of Huawei phones that has deluxe quality at an affordable price, the Huawei Nova Y9s. The brand-new device was just launched in South Africa this week and Huawei is planning to make it available in other countries as well.The Nova Y9s phone has the same great specs as the Y9s but branded as Nova.

Design and Display
The smartphone shows a 6.63-inch FHD+ IPS display. Huawei boasts about its full-screen display, being able to feature a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio which is perfect for video-viewing. It has a fingerprint sensor at the side and also hosts slots for an SD card and for two sim cards.
Its charging port is for Type-C USB 2.0 and it also has an audio jack for earphones. The phone has 163.5 x 8.95 x 76.5 for its dimensions and weighs 197 g.
The Huawei Nova Y9a comes in three colors which are Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black.
Camera
One of Huawei Nova Y9s’ unique features is it’s pop-up selfie camera, this detail paves way for its full-screen display without having the notch or cutout in the screen for the camera. The selfie camera houses a 16 MP one with an f2.2 aperture.
The rear cameras are also a steal as this device holds quad-rear cameras enclosed in a circular cam module. The primary camera holds 64 MP with F1.8 aperture. It has an ultra-wide camera with 8 MP F2.4 aperture, and a macro cam with 2 MP and F2.4 aperture. Lastly is a 2 MP depth camera with F2.4 aperture.
Performance
This smartphone runs on a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core chipset with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for its graphics. It is powered through an Android 10 OS with EMUI 10.1. For connectivity, it offers WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and 4G LTE.
It doesn’t have Google apps and services and instead has the Huawei play store.
Storage
Its RAM can hold 8 GB with an inbuilt 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage You can expand the storage up to 256 GB through a NM SD card slot.
Battery
Its battery holds 4,300 mAh. It features a 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology which they claim would charge your phone up to 70% battery in just 30 minutes.
