DITO Telecommunity, the new telco in the country, has officially launched its services to the public last May 08, 2021 in Cebu and Davao.  Since then, the company has been widening their reach around the country as more cities are added for availability and devices for compatibility.

In a Facebook post, DITO has updated the list of cities that has access to the DITO signal. The last update was as of July 30, 2021 where the cities available are:

Luzon:

  • Bataan: Balanga, Dinalupihan
  • Batangas: Alitagtag, Balete, Batangas City (Capital), Bauan, Cuenca, Ibaan, Lipa City, Malvar, Mataas Na Kahoy, Padre Garcia, Rosario, San Jose, San Juan, San Pascual, Santo Tomas, Talisay, Tanauan City, and Taysan
  • Bulacan: Baliuag, Bocaue, Bulacan, Hagonoy, Malolos, Marilao, Meycauayan, Pandi, Plaridel, and San Jose Del Monte
  • Cavite: Alfonso, Amadeo, Bacoor City, Carmona, Dasmariñas City, General Trias, Imus City, Indang, Kawit, Mendez, Silang, Tagaytay City, and Trece Martirez
  • Laguna: Alaminos, Biñan City, Cabuyao, Calamba City, Calauan, Los Baños, San Pablo, San Pedro, Sta Rosa, and Victoria

Device Compatibility

DITO states that it makes use of next-generation VoLTE technology that allows the telco to provide better features such as high-definition voice calls. Phone models with VoLTE tech are encouraged to be used with the DITO card so as to enjoy and maximize its features. DITO clarifies that phone models who are not on the list of compatible devices can still access DITO’s services but with limited features.  Continuous testing is being done and the list of compatible phones will be updated regularly on their website Dito.ph.
