Hotel101, a renowned hotel chain developed by DoubleDragon Corp., is preparing to launch its latest domestic project in Quezon City (QC), Philippines. Following the success of its previous ventures, including a fully sold-out 548-room condotel near Mactan Cebu International Airport and Hotel101 projects in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, and Mall of Asia complex in Manila, the company is eager to announce its third Hotel101 project in Metro Manila and its first in Quezon City.
Known as Hotel101-Libis Bridgetowne, the new project will feature 745 rooms and will be located on E. Rodriguez Avenue in Libis, Quezon City. Hannah Yulo-Luccini, DoubleDragon’s chief investment officer, expressed excitement about the upcoming venture. The company also has plans to establish branches in other popular tourist destinations, such as Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol.
By developing condotels, which are condominium units managed by the company but sold to individual investors, Hotel101 aims to offer affordable accommodation options across its locations. The company distinguishes itself from competitors by providing uniform-sized rooms in all its establishments.
In addition to its expansion plans, Hotel101 is introducing its standardized “happy room” concept in its Cebu project. This innovative design includes artificial intelligence-designed banig accents. Banig refers to a traditional Philippine handwoven mat. The hotel chain also emphasizes construction and operational efficiency by employing modular furniture, fixtures, and pre-fabricated bathrooms.
It is dedicated to incorporating advanced technology throughout its value chain. The upcoming version of the Hotel101 App will integrate a fully automated self-check-in system with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities. This commitment to modern technology sets Hotel101 apart in the global hospitality industry. DoubleDragon Corp. believes that Hotel101’s pioneering standardized 21-square-meter HappyRooms and asset-light concept will enable it to optimize the use of technology in the sector.
With these ambitious plans, Hotel101 is poised to become one of the most technologically advanced and sought-after hotel chains in the market. The company expects its revenues to reach approximately P18 billion, excluding earnings from its overseas projects. As the launch of Hotel101-Libis Bridgetowne draws near, the industry eagerly anticipates the innovative and customer-centric experiences this new establishment will offer.
