As the Filinvest Group marks its 70th year of visionary development, Filinvest City sets a transformative milestone by welcoming PLDT Inc. as its newest major locator. The Philippines’ largest integrated telco is bringing a bold vision to life with plans to establish the country’s first smart and sustainable tech campus in Filinvest City’s Southgate District.
PLDT’s future headquarters—a five-hectare tech campus—is more than just a corporate relocation. It signals a defining moment in the evolution of Filinvest City into a smarter, greener, and more digitally connected urban center. Designed with inspiration from top global campuses, the development will integrate advanced infrastructure and dynamic workspaces that reflect PLDT’s long-term vision for a collaborative, future-ready workplace.
“This campus is part of our effort to build a healthier, more collaborative work environment,” said PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan. “It reflects our belief that the workplace must evolve alongside the industries we serve.”
Chosen after extensive planning, Filinvest City was selected for its world-class infrastructure, vast green spaces, and sustainability-focused master plan. The project is expected to generate thousands of jobs and catalyze economic growth, benefiting residential, commercial, and startup communities in the Metro South.
Filinvest Development Corporation Vice Chairperson Josephine Gotianun-Yap emphasized the importance of shared vision: “Filinvest City was designed with intention—to foster an environment where businesses thrive and innovation flourishes.
